The recognition for NTE Process
NTE Process received an honourable mention at the PMI Award 2025, the recognition run by the Digital Innovation Observatories of Politecnico di Milano.
A little of our technology sits behind the scenes, which is why we are writing about it: it is not our award, but it is confirmation that a document automation project done properly is visible from the outside.
What the PMI Award is
The Digital Innovation Observatories are the research centre at Politecnico di Milano that studies digital innovation in Italian business. The PMI Award is how they highlight the small and medium enterprises that have carried digitalisation projects through to concrete, measurable results.
The interesting part, for anyone working in our field, is the criterion: they do not reward adopting a technology as such, they reward the fact that the technology changed a real business process. That is exactly the distinction we draw the first time we talk to a client.
The project behind the mention
With NTE Process we worked on document routing: the daily, invisible routine of receiving documents, working out what they are and sending them to the right person or system. It appears on no org chart, yet it consumes hours of skilled work every week.

What we take away from it
